La Suite Matera Hotel & Spa

This hotel is a wonderful hotel. The breakfast was excellent, had a great and suficiente selection of food. But what made it even more special was the personal atención of Ana,Vincenzo and novel, they were incredible. The room was modern and more than comfortable. My husband needed to do some work and the room was so spacious that it made it easy for him. The location is perfect and close to the sassi and the same time independent of noise. And finally Serena and the staff in the front desk made our life so easy . They were always ready to guide us and help us in any way.

La Suites is so well located. It is a modern hotel located on the edge as you enter the central part of the old town. The rooms are large and well equipped. the staff are exceptional, Jennifer at the front desk was a standout, offering great help and assistance, as did other staff we engaged with.

Great location, just outside the historical area, so no need to carry your luggage through the thousand steps of Matera's Sassi. Nice spa area, very large and comfortable bed. Complimentary water (still and sparkling), tea and Nespresso coffee in the room. Great breakfast with both sweet and savory options. Car park just under the hotel (literally), you can leave you car outside the hotel and their staff will park it for you, so you don't have to search for space (we were staying for a long holiday weekend and it was always almost full, as Matera was full of tourists).

The hotel is very calm and serene and the staff are all helpful and charming. We had a large suite which was well designed and extremely comfortable. From our balcony we could see the cathedral and some of the caves.
